About Us

Jolly Man began long before it had a name.

Back in 2018, my twin brother and I set out to create a beard oil that was nourishing, felt sophisticated, and was less greasy than many of the products we had tried. Over the years, we experimented with different oils, formulas, and combinations before finally narrowing our homemade recipe down to five simple ingredients: fractionated coconut oil, golden jojoba oil, meadowfoam seed oil, castor oil, and 100% pure vitamin E oil.

Once we had a beard oil we were proud of, we turned our attention to fragrance. We began creating scents simply because we wanted to make something we enjoyed wearing ourselves. Eventually, we realized that if we liked them, there was a good chance other men would too.

And that’s how Jolly Man was born.

Today, Jolly Man offers handcrafted beard oils and colognes in a growing collection of fragrances, with more products already in the works — including our upcoming Steamhouse Lather body wash.

At its heart, Jolly Man is still built around the same idea we started with in 2018: make products we genuinely enjoy using, keep improving them, and create something we’re proud to put our name on.
